McMinnville, Ore – February 6, 2012 – Linfield College Adult Degree Program’s free application offer is coming to an end on February 20, 2012. Those adult students who apply before the end of the campaign, and enroll in classes for either the 2012 Spring or Summer semesters, will be able to save on the $100 application fee for the bachelor’s degree program and the $50 fee for the certificate programs. Designed to help aid adults who have considered going back to school, this offer will encourage those to achieve their educational goals in 2012.
This Free Application offer is available for all programs, within the Linfield College Adult Degree Program, including six online degrees and three online certificate programs. Additionally, Linfield offers four hybrid online/classroom programs through Linfield’s McMinnville and Portland, Oregon campuses, giving students the flexibility to work around their busy schedules. All students who apply must register for a Linfield Adult Degree Program course by June 25, 2012.
“The Free Application greatly encourages those who have been thinking of going back to college to take the first step to apply and begin pursuing their academic and career goals,” said Kate Bemis, Dean of Continuing Education at Linfield College. “Our advisors help students achieve their goals by setting up individualized academic plans to ensure students are on track to receive their degree at the pace that suits them.”
In addition to the Free Application offer, financial aid, grants and loans are available to all eligible students enrolled in any of the Adult Degree Programs, including the recently added online marketing degree program. Because many of the Adult Degree Program students have life experience pertinent to the degree they are pursuing, Linfield awards college credit for prior learning on the job, which can significantly decrease the cost and course load needed to earn a bachelor’s degree.
Students applying to one of Linfield’s Adult Degree Programs have access to many of the same resources in-class students receive, including online tutoring and an online university library.
So why wait? Apply for free before the February 20 deadline and begin working toward a bachelor’s degree or certificate, either online or in a hybrid online/classroom program. Registration for Spring classes ends on February 18, 2012, and spring classes run from February 20 through May 24. For those interested in Summer classes registration is available from May 4 – June 16, 2012.
